Activities Available:
Beer Gardens, Cabins and Other Lodgings, Fishing, Kayak Trails, Pet Friendly, River Outfitters, Swimming Holes, Tube Rental ServicesThis 75-acre recreational area offers tube, canoe and raft rentals and is situated on one-half mile of Guadalupe River frontage upstream of dam number 2 and dam number 3. Trout fishing also is available, when the little flappers have been stocked that is. The swimming is pretty good here, but always check on the flows because some times the Corps will open the gates up to allow 5,000 cfs to move on down the river and you could get swept away done to Gruene or even further. You could also talk to these folks to get some suggested put in and take out points for your next kayak trip, but you should also be aware that this is tubing country. Screened shelters and cabins also are available. They have an onsite beer garden as well if you want to grab a drink after playing on the water. They are located right at the Horseshoe where 306 intersects with 2673.
