Tom Hughes Park

This small five acre park has fairly rugged terrain and, therefore, is not as heavily used as some of the other Lake Travis parks. Watch where you dive/jump into the water. There also are some primitive hiking trails here, some of which lead to a steep entrance to the water. Dogs are OK if kept on a leash. You could always go watch the sun set at the Oasis after spending the day at the park, but don’t feel compelled to applaud when the sun disappears. From intersection of FM 2222 and RR 620, take 620 south about 2 miles and turn right on Marshall Ford Dr. and look for signs.
