Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This is another great place to spend time in Gruene after you have been playing in the waters of the lower Guadalupe River. The building is a renovated barn and they have live music at both theindoor and outdoor stages at this superb, rustic bar. To get there from San Marcos take the exit to state highway 306 on the north side of New Braunfels. Then, turn left onto Common Street and right onto Gruene Road. The tavern is located on the same property as the Gurene Homestead Inn in case you are looking for a place to stay.
