Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This crossing is located on State Hwy 39 south of Hunt and just south of the “boot fence.” You will know the fence when you see it. This spot has the potential for being a good swimming hole if the water level is up, but often times the water is fairly low here. This could be a good wade fishing spot, however. Parking and access are OK. Consider heading over to Louise Hays Park in Kerrville if the water is too low at the crossing.
