Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This campground is located between the 2nd and 3rd crossings of the Guadalupe River on River Road outside of New Braunfels and upstream from dam number 5/the chute. Pretty sure the name of the campground is in reference to the trout that are stocked in the river occasionally — just sayin. The campground is located across the river from a swell cliff formation and it has good swimming areas as well, but you will have to get here early if you want to snag a site by the trees. Rafts and tubes are available for rent if you want to get on the water. A two bedroom house and RV sites also are available if you don’t want to camp, and there is a store onsite.
