Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This longstanding club still holds public dances every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. The gun club members constructed this swell dance hall in 1890 and it has weathered many a flood. There also is plenty of room outside to catch your breath. Be sure to ask about the turkey shoot that have in the fall. It is always a good idea to try to come out to these old dance halls because they provide great examples of the places our relatives used to enjoy back in the old days. Quihi is located about mid-way between Hondo and Castroville north of Hwy 90 on State Road 2676. Conveniently located for folks who have spent their afternoon at Medina Lake or the Hill Country State Natural Area.
