River OutfittersOffers kayak lessons and rentals and the proceeds fund Olympic hopefuls in paddling sports (not those kind of paddling sports). These folks can give you lots of useful information about paddling the stupendous San Marcos River from Sewell Park down to Spencer’s and beyond. They are located on the east side of the highway.
Great place to learn to kayak–paddled open boats all my life and learned more in one morning from Ben and company–plus learning how to eskimo roll and play in the white water is the most fun I have had with my clothes on:-}
