Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

The Maricopa Riverside Lodge will rent you a tube, raft, canoe or kayak to use at the Horseshoe even if you are not staying at their place. This is a very popular area for tubing and it is situated upstream of the Whitewater Rapids. If you are going kayaking up here it is best to go when the flows are at least 1,200 cfs because nobody will be on tubes at those flows.  The lodge is located just north of the intersection of 306 and 2673 in Sattler. A nearby beer garden is the Shanty if that interests you after your trip on the water.
