This 71-acre Lake Travis park is operated by Travis County and it offers hiking, swimming, diving and boating opportunities for water recreationalists. This is a very popular area to launch boats because the ramp is relatively deep, but keep in mind that there also is a designated swim area where boats are not allowed. There is also a five-platform scuba diving area if you want to practice blowing bubbles. From the intersection of RR 620 and FM 2222, travel south 4.9 miles. Turn right onto Mansfield Dam Road and look for the signs. Dogs kept on a leash are OK.
