This campground is located on County Road 350 across from Garner State Park on the refreshing Frio River. This long-time favorite campground features a superb limestone cliff sitting alongside the Frio River and many places to play in the stream. You can rent tubes here if you feel like going for a float trip. This site also could be used as a put in for a 4.5-mile kayak trip down to CR 348/River Road. There will be a couple of falls along the way so keep your ears opened. Contact the owners to discuss put in and take out points and to obtain river flow information. You should contact Josh's or Happy Hollow for kayak rental information. Pets kept on a leash are ok at the camp. From Leakey, take US Hwy 83 south and turn left (east) onto County Road 350 and then follow until you see the sign.

When the water levels are up this is a great place to go camp and it has a really nice view of the cliff over in Garner State Park.
