Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This impoundment is located near the Inks Bridge in Llano just off of State Hwy 16. Fishing and swimming are the main activities at this city park, which is located at the dam, but it also is a good place to float or to dink around in the yaks on some flat water. Dogs are OK if kept on a leash. If coming from Austin, turn left onto Legion just past the bridge, and we mean just past the bridge. There is a nice play area downstream of the dam close to the Dabb’s Hotel. For river flow information contact the Castell General Store or the City of Llano.
