Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This 200-acre recreational area is located outside of Junction and it offers visitors the opportunity to fish, swim, tube, kayak or enjoy hiking activities. They rent tubes, but they do not rent kayaks. The camping area is shaded by oak trees and sits across the river from an impressive looking cliff, which is always an advantage when you are looking for a place to camp.  The campsites have electricity and access to water and there are restrooms located onsite.  The river up around these parts is a real nice place to visit when the water level is up. From Junction take Hwy 377 north to County Road 314 and head south until you see the sign. Contact the owners to obtain information about put in and take out points for kayak trips in this area.
