Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This campground is located on the gorgeous Guadalupe River just south of the 4th Crossing on River Road and upstream of the Devil’s Playground, Bad Rock Rapid and Mountain View Rapid. They also rent tubes, rafts and kayaks in case you want to get on the water. This is one of the campgrounds located at the far north of River Road if you are looking for a put in point to travel down a fairly long run of the river to Gruene. You can do some swimming up here, but boy is that water muy frio. In Sattler turn south onto River Road from 2673 and look for the sign.
