This park is located in Castroville, which is a nice little town. This five-acre park and bed and breakfast borders the Medina River and has wildflower gardens and a Monarch Butterfly refuge. Owls and hummingbirds are known to reside at the park when it suits them. And now for something completely different, if you are going for a drive you could take 471 north and stop off at the Rio Medina store to check out the historic outhouse in back of the store. Seriously — we are not kidding.
