Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

Only one thing needs to be said about this Travis County park, it is the only clothing optional public park in Texas – at least it is the only legal clothing optional public park. Unsurprisingly, sunbathing is a favorite pastime for relaxationists who enjoy their time at this park. Do not be surprised if members of the boating community drift by at a slow rate of speed while peering through binoculars. However, they probably are not looking for Golden-Cheeked Warblers or Black Capped Vireos (no snide remarks, please). Also, you might have to watch out for the pervs who sometime hang out in the bushes — really. Like their website says, nudity is tolerated, lewd behavior is not. From the intersection of RR 620 and FM 2222, take RR 620 south 1.3 miles to Comanche Trail. Turn right on Comanche Trail and travel 2 miles. Park entrance is on your left. Consider running over to the Oasis when you finish here unless you did not sufficiently apply the sunblock lotion.
