This park is being developed to house wildflowers and native plant demonstration gardens that attract wildlife and those who are attracted to wildlife. The open fields here are good places to view butterflies during the summer. Dogs are OK if kept on a leash. Hiking trails are also located at the park behind the City Hall near the intersection of State Hwy 16 and FM 1560. You might want to consider going to the John T. Floore Country Store later in the evening for some entertainment when you have finished at the park.
