Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

Located near Comfort, this ranch has campsites and a lot of mountain bike trails onsite. The bike trails consist primarily of a 9-mile and a 15-mile loop. Be sure to contact them to get information on races and other special events that they have out here periodically. This is a good place to go biking, but there is not a whole lot of shade so be sure to take plenty of water. It is best to call and get details before heading out here because the ranch is only open to mountain bikers on a very limited basis and you have to meet their criteria. See their website for directions. No pets. There is a dam in Center Point at Lion’s Park that creates a nice pool for swimming that is relatively close to this ranch.
