Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

Take 1623 west from Blanco and then get onto 1888 and look for the sign on the left to Crabapple Road. Be careful of the parking, but this can be a nice swimming hole when the water is up and you might even be able to get in some fishing. If the water is too low, which certainly could be the case, you should be able to find some good water back in the State Park in Blanco.
