Activities Available:
Camping, Fishing, Hiking Trails, Horseback Riding, Pet Friendly, Swimming HolesThis 400-acre LCRA Park has a whopping three miles of shoreline on Lake Buchanan for you to explore. That is a pretty far stretch of shoreline so you should not have any problem accessing the water. This relatively large park offers many opportunities for primitive camping, fishing, swimming and horseback riding. You might even be able to see some eagles here during the cold months so keep your eyes opened. Pets on a leash in the camping area are OK. You can stop off at the Bluffton store if you need to pick up some bait. From Llano, take FM 2241 and turn north at Bluffton. Go about 4 miles and turn right on FM 3014, then go 3/10 of a mile to the main site entrance.

I have been going fishing at lake buchanan since the early 70s I have some pictures of what cedar point looked like back in the 70s It was when a man by the name of Tolly Grey had cedar point leased from LCRA
