From the back porch or the patio you should be able to hear the sounds of the creek running, which at times can have a hypnotic effect. They also have a bunkhouse that sleeps 30 if you want to come out here for a group activity. You could do some swimming and fishing here depending on the water levels. They also have a pool onsite that will help you beat the relentless Texas heat. If you are looking for a short day trip, the Pedernales Falls State Park is relatively close by.
