Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This is a nice, but relatively small park where lots of people take their dogs to visit with other dogs. It used to be an off-leash park, but now you have to keep Fido on a lead during your visit. You can play around with your dog near the creek at the main part of the park, but don’t go swimming or even wading in that part of the stream. The better areas for contact recreation are located closer to Loop 360 (hint: that part of the park is upstream of the dog area if you know what we mean). Take 2222 heading away from Austin and look for the sign to turn right just before you get to 360. You will not be all that far from the Dry Creek if you want to grab a beer after your visit at the park.
