This is one of the many fun campgrounds located in the heart of Central Texas tubing territory – River Road outside of New Braunfels between the 2nd and 3rd crossings of the Guadalupe River. This is a popular tube rental site because all float rides from here go through the Chute (a bypass of one of the local dams). The campground also rents rafts and it has a store onsite. You will be pretty close to the Lone Star Float House if you want to go grab a beer after spending time on the water.

We had real good luck the last time we came out here in 2007. Even though we came here in July there was plenty of water flowing in the river and the trip was a lot of fun.
