Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This shallow area is located at one of the crossings of County Road 1340 and the Guadalupe River west of Hunt. Nice spot to go wading or wade fishing and perhaps to do some birding. Parking and access to water are OK and this is a real nice drive outside of Kerrville to boot. You can take 1340 over to Hunt and then to the Ingram Dam if you want to do some dam sliding in case there is not enough water at the crossing for your liking.
