Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This old-school resort is available for day use and they have cabins located across the street from the 1492 Crossing in Wimberley. They have a few four-plex units and there are different floor plans for the cabins so you will need to contact the owners to see about bedroom and bathroom combinations. You can come here to do some fishing, birding or swimming along the beautiful Blanco River, however it is best to call about river conditions before you come out for a swim because the water can be pretty low here during the warm months. They also have a pioneer town if you want to get a glimpse of the old west. If the water is too low at the crossing, you could drive over to the Blue Hole or use the pool at 7A. In Wimberley follow River Road at the stop light (the first one they installed in Wimberley) a few miles and the resort will be on your right.
