This crossing also is known as the Third Crossing and it will take you to the Second Crossing and then over the Falls (watch out or you could flip out of the boat) and then down to highway 127 if you are looking for a place to paddle. It is about a five mile trip and you probably should contact
Josh's or
Andy's for some kayak rental and river flow information before heading out here. This can be a nice little paddle trip when the water is up because of the chutes and the heavily vegetated surroundings. Texas Monthly named this as one of the 20 best runs in the state.
