Enjoy the Texas Hill Country

This is a good place to go play in the water in the Blanco River around Wimberley, but you are going to have to park up the hill at Pioneer Town for a fee. Take River Road off of RR 12 in Wimberley and just a little after the sign to Pioneer Town you will see 1492 on your left. You could use the crossing as a put in point for a kayak trip down to Wimberley. Ino’z is in Wimberley and it has a nice deck on the banks of Cypress Creek if you are in the mood for an adult beverage after you finish up at the crossing. If there isn’t enough water at the crossing you could try going over to Blue Hole.
