The hike will include a visit to Devil’s Waterhole, one of the top ten water holes in the Hill Country. Saturday should be a good day for a brisk walk in the park. Starting on Friday of this week will be the first day of the GRTU’s trout fishing festival outside of New Braunfels over the weekend. They will feature guest speakers, a film series, casting contests, fly tiers, various demonstrations and all kinds of vendors. If you are going camping this weekend be sure to check the forecast and plan accordingly. There is a pretty good chance of rain for Friday night into Saturday morning. Things should begin to dry out Saturday afternoon into Sunday if the weather folks know what they are talking about.
